Q) I want to order a gift basket for delivery today. Can you deliver any basket on your site same day?
A) No, the gift baskets that can be delivered same day are found in the Same Day Delivery Category.
Q) What time do I have to order by to get Same Day Delivery?
A) Gifts with optional same day delivery must be ordered by 12PM in the RECIPIENT'S time zone to guarantee prompt arrival.
Q) What time will my Same Day Delivery Gift be delivered?
A) All Same Day Delivery Gifts are delivered by our local affiliates and are generally delivered between the hours of 9AM-5PM. Unfortunately, it is not possible to schedule a specific delivery time as we cannot dictate the courier's route.
Q) Do you deliver same day to everywhere?
A) We deliver same day to most US cities but there are some towns that are too remote to deliver to. These towns are far from major cities and are too remote for delivery.
Please contact us prior to placing an order if you think this may be the case for the town you need delivery to so we can verify if we have delivery service to that particular area.
If it is found we cannot deliver to a town you place an order for we will contact you.
Q) Do you deliver wine/champagne to all 50 states?
A) We do not deliver to Alaska or Hawaii. There are also restrictions in many counties as to the delivery of wine/champagne. If you place an order to a county that restricts wine delivery, you will be notified via email, and we will adjust the contents of your basket in accordance.
Q) Do you deliver to military bases?
A) Sorry, due to government restrictions we are not allowed to deliver on military bases.
Q) Will my basket look like it does in the photo?
A) The photos on our website are an example of how your gift will look. Our hand delivered gifts come from one of over 4000 affiliates nationwide. The affiliates do not all stock the exact same inventory, but each basket is carefully prepared by a professional designer.
Q) I received a notice from you that the gift I want for delivery today will have to be delivered tomorrow. Why is that?
A) As stated on our same day items, all of our bouquets and gift baskets are hand-arranged and delivered locally by professional florists. In rare cases, these items may require additional lead time and delivery may not be until the next day.
Q) Why do I have to give you the gift recipient's phone number?
A) Our design center will call the recipient prior to delivery to ensure someone will be available to receive the gift. If you do not provide a phone number, and we have no way to contact the recipient, your order may be cancelled.
Q) What do you do if no one is home at the time of delivery?
A) Dependent upon the delivery address, an available neighbor may be asked to sign for the gift, and a tag will be placed on door of the original delivery address stating where the gift has been delivered. If no one, including neighbors, is available to sign for delivery, a door tag may be left with the contact information for our design center. The gift recipient will then need to contact the design center to arrange for delivery at a later date. Apartment deliveries may be left in the Management Office if no one is available in the apartment unit to sign for the gift.
PLEASE NOTE: Only one delivery attempt per day is made. If a recipient is not available, delivery will be attempted again on the next business day.
Q) I want to send a gift to a hospital. Can I do that?
A) Yes but please check with the recipient to make sure they will not be discharged prior to delivery. If they are they will need to arrange for pickup of the gift at our design center. Also, many hospitals will not accept gifts for patients in ICU units. Please check with the hospital prior to placing order to be sure the patient can receive food gifts.
Q) What is your cancellation policy for Same Day Delivery Gifts?
A) Order cancellations MUST be placed by 12PM EST the day the order is slated to be delivered. If your order is canceled after that time, your credit card will still be charged in full.
Q) I want to customize a basket for delivery today. Can I?
A) Sorry, we do not offer custom basket service.
